Absolutely amazing picture quality and epic service from The Woot Team.
Absolutely phenomenal monitor! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The colours are simply stunning, and the glossy QD-OLED panel makes everything look incredibly vibrant. HDR Peak 1000 Bright is absolutely insane in supported games – the contrast and highlights are on another level. One thing I highly recommend is updating the monitor to the latest firmware as soon as you receive it. Dell has made some excellent improvements, and it's definitely worth doing. The subtle curve is perfect. It's not distracting at all and actually makes gaming feel more immersive without affecting productivity. For me, it's the ideal balance between work and gaming. Text is razor sharp, colours are incredibly accurate, and gaming is an absolute joy. A big shout-out to Wootware as well. Their service was fantastic, as always. My order arrived a full week earlier than expected, which was an awesome surprise. If you're on the fence about buying the Alienware AW3225QF, don't be. It's an incredible monitor and worth every cent. Whoop whoop!

Top of the notch
Looks, feels and behaves like a premium monitor, just make sure you configure your HDR correctly (I use Nvidia control panel to control the colour output) because it can look very grey and washed out when showing desktop and playing SDR games. Otherwise I'm very happy with it and it looks insane.

Hands down the best monitor on the market
I’ve been using the AW3225QF for two months now, and I can confidently say the image clarity and quality of the QD-OLED display are absolutely breathtaking. This monitor truly combines the best of both worlds. If you’re into story-driven games with high visual fidelity, this is the ideal choice. The picture quality is unmatched, and the QD-OLED panel makes every scene come to life. On the flip side, if you're a competitive gamer who plays fast-paced shooters like Call of Duty, this monitor has you covered too. With a 0.03ms response time and a 240Hz refresh rate, the performance is top-notch—especially when paired with such low latency. I waited a bit before posting my review because I wanted to make sure I had a thorough understanding of the overall experience with this monitor. While there are a few downsides, the positives easily outweigh them: Downsides: Micro Scratches: Upon receiving my unit, I noticed some tiny micro scratches on the screen. They’re barely noticeable to the naked eye, but if you shine a light directly on the display, they become apparent. Fortunately, they don’t affect the viewing experience, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Horizontal Lines Issue: After a few hours of use, I encountered a strange issue where horizontal lines appeared across the screen the next day when I powered it on. I want to clarify that this wasn’t a static grid issue—there were no grid lines on the display. The fix was simple: I performed a full panel refresh, which took about an hour, and the problem was resolved. However, I was a bit concerned because performing a panel refresh so soon could potentially impact the long-term durability of the QD-OLED panel. Positives: Despite these minor issues, the overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive. If you’re seeking the best gaming visuals available, this 4K, 240Hz QD-OLED monitor is the way to go. Yes, it’s a premium-priced product, but the investment is well worth it. For some users, the 32-inch size might feel a bit large, but I find it to be the perfect balance between immersive, story-driven gaming and competitive shooters. The subtle curve is also a fantastic addition. It’s not extreme, but it definitely enhances the immersion. I was surprised by how much more engaged I felt in my games after using this monitor. It's important to note that to fully unlock this monitor’s potential, you’ll need a relatively high-end PC. I’m running a 7900XTX with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB of DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz, and the combination works flawlessly. The monitor runs like a dream with this setup. Finally, I highly recommend purchasing this product from Wootware. Their customer service is exceptional, the best in South Africa, and I look forward to a long-term partnership with them.

Peak Gaming Monitor
I didn't think that we were anywhere near this level of quality for gaming, but it seems like the future is now. The 4k panel has an excellent pixel density for reading text and clarity in games. The 240hz refresh rate feels smoother than my older 165hz even at lower FPS and I think it's because of the excellent response times of the monitor. Lastly, the QD-OLED technology is truly breathtaking for colours and deep blacks as well as the HDR support. I would recommend using the auto HDR for Windows PCs as the Dolby Atmos HDR only really works for Dolby content. I manually enable that for Dolby content and for nothing else.

Excellent monitor with minor flaws
This is the first OLED screen I've ever owned and it was such a welcome upgrade coming from IPS. Pros: - Great colors. - 240hz response time is perfect for competitive online gaming. - Deep blacks owing to oled technology (compared to IPS it looks like the screen is off). - HDR is decent, but there is some noticeable ABL that occurs as bright elements take up more of the screen. - Glossy panel. I was a bit concerned the glossy finish on the panel would make it unusable in daylight but its actually less reflective/distracting than the matte coating on my IPS screen imo. The curved dimensions of the screen distort the light making the reflections look very wide but also less noticeable than they would be otherwise. - Great aesthetics on the back of the monitor with a white finish, leds and alienware logo. Panel is very thin as well. - The maximum fullscreen brightness is around 239 nits~ (Hardware Unboxed), which i thought might be noticeable coming from a 450 nits monitor but honestly this thing gets bright enough. Cons - If you aren't a fan of curved screens well you probably avoided this one anyway. Coming from a guy who uses flat screens, it was a bit disorientating to use at first but after the first few minutes you stop noticing the curve and the closer you are to the center of the screen makes it less noticeable as well. - VRR flicker in dark scenes. This is an issue that you will experience on any OLED monitor, but so far it has been minor. - There is some plastic below the display ports which limits the vertical space available and makes it more difficult to connect cables into the ports. - This monitor has a fan for active cooling, but it has not been audible for me. Useful tips: - Upgrade the firmware to the latest version (M2B105, A03-00 as of the time of this review): https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/aw3225qf-monitor/drivers - Play around with brightness, color and HDR settings until you find something that works for you. I used the settings suggested here: https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/comments/1e6nvbk/alienware_aw3225qf_best_settings_no_abl_uniform/ - Take precautions to avoid burn in. For example: disable desktop icons, auto-hide taskbar, use a black wallpaper or wallpaper slideshow, use a screensaver and/or turn the monitor off when you aren't using it. - Make sure you run the pixel refresh on the monitor after 4 hours of use. To do this you turn the monitor off via power button and the power button will show a green led until the refresh is complete. The monitor shows a circular icon in the OSD which indicates when you should run a pixel refresh, it will go yellow after 4 hours elapse in its power on count. Overall I would say it is excellent monitor and you won't go wrong with this one.
