Great
I upgraded from the AMD Ryzen 5 5600, which was a good all rounder. This new CPU performs really well with the 65W TDP. Did some undervolting and now its sipping on power and keeping the temps down. You don't need an X3D CPU. Happy with the purchase.

An F1-class CPU
Coming from an Intel i9 9900, this CPU completely blows it out of the park, despite having the same cores and threads. The extra 1GHz clock speed and improved IPC hits hard. The i9 was hitting 90 degrees and I can’t get this CPU to go past 65. Also, the i9 could hit 130W power usage where 88W is the highest I recorded. I won’t need to upgrade this CPU for a very long time and when I do, I can just slot in a newer CPU (Zen 6 or 7 if it’s supported) without changing the entire setup.

Who even needs a 3d processor?
I decided to go with this instead of a 3d chip and spend a little more on GPU. No regrets. This thing performs like a champ paired with 9070xt

It does what it needs to do
I had a 5700x3d before this, but wanting to finally move across to the AM5 platform the 9700x seemed like a decent choice, not much more than the 7700x and was a slightly better TDP. Though in day to day use the performance is fine, in gaming it's exactly the same as the 5700x3d perhaps with better lows.

I am so happy with my choice in this Upgrade move coming from AM4 5800X to this BEAST.I did a lot of My own re-search and saw In a lot of benchmarks this is actually a very good processor and it is the latest Current Gen. series of Processors giving good Productivity and Gaming and power efficiency. And in most results coming close to the 7800 3D processor with in 5% to 2% with the right setup. A lot of know Youtubers will have to Re re-review this Processor and was following their own assumptions and or copying each other but there was also a lot of Youtubers that took time and gave it a Decent review, thanks to Them. As now two months later with new Motherboard Bios updates and Windows Updates for AMD and the Right set of RAM this Processor is really Worth it if u don't have the extra 3 1/2 to 4 thousand Rand or what ever currency u have, to get the 3d version and the Ryzen 7 9700X comes close to it and are in the top 6 position in a lot of benchmarks it even beats the new 9800X 3d in some productivity benchmarks.
