Excellent, do yourself and everone else a favour and keep Blu-Ray alive!
Does exactly what I expect from it. I've written a few DVD's, Blu-Ray discs, as well as BDXL 100 GB M-Disc discs making backups of old projects and it is doing well. I've watched Blu-Ray movies after following an online wiki to set it up properly regarding the software needed to do so. Blu-Ray quality is so much better than online streaming, everyone should buy one and a few movies and keep Blu-Ray alive. All of the mentioned tasks I did on Linux, it includes Cyberlink software for Windows which I have not used yet.

The last optical drive you'll ever need
There's not much call for optical drives anymore these days, but I love to be different and I love the fact I now have 2 Blu-ray writers in my PC. This drive reads and writes basically everything still out there and more specifically, can read the Ultra-HD Blu-rays. Note that in order to properly play UHD Blu-ray there's a whole lot of other hoops to go through regarding specific hardware etc, but this drive itself is fine and does the job very well. If you are going to spend money on a Blu-ray drive, this is the drive to get. It's unlikely another new one will ever be released to market again, so get it whilst you still can.
