A worthy Upgrade.
Back in 2018 I was super excited when AMD announced their 8 core 16 thread CPU's after years of only dead end 4 core intel I7's. I yolo'ed into a RYZEN 1700x and a MSI X370 Gaming Titanium MOBO with the logic that 8 cores will last a long time i could upgrade my CPU and save tons of money in the future. Well 7 years later in 2025 the future is now here and wow I am pleased to announce that the 5700X3d is the upgrade that I was hoping for. Its the biggest generational upgrade that I have ever experienced and its running on origional 7 year old legacy X370 hardware. The 5700x3d is 3 generations newer than the 1700x, yet I have no compatibility issues and everything is running great on my first gen x370 motherboard. I do recommend upgrading your ram to 32GB 3600hmz to feed this cpu properly into the future if you are running a older 16gb setup. Conclusion is that AM4 is far from dead, this CPU will remain relevant for years to come. I highly recommend.

Last of the AM4, going out with a bang
As one of the last of the AM4 CPUs this little banger is giving the AM4 a nice boost of life. Not quite as good as newer AM5 CPUs but getting you really really close to it though for the price and the oomph. Love the little chip that can and given my aging AM4 system a nice boost.

CPU upgrade
I upgraded from my Ryzen 5 2600 to this cpu mainly because I did not want to purchase a new motherboard, ram and everything. This cpu has breathed new life into my old pc. It pushes my RX6600 to the limits but the performance gains in all the games I play are insane.

Top Sidegrade
If you are still on the AM4 architecture and you don't have R20k to do the full upgrade to AM5, this is the best alternative. AM4 still has a lot of life in it and this 5700X3D will hold you over for a good couple of years still. Your GPU will be you bottleneck before you need to replace this guy.

I upgraded from a 3400G to this little beast and am so happy I did. Massive performance uplift and great value, considering the bang for the buck!!! If you are still on AM4 and not ready to change platforms, this is the perfect chip for you.

Lightning-Fast and Reliable
The Ryzen 7 5700X3D is incredibly fast. It handles everything without breaking a sweat, and I haven’t had any issues with heat. The stock performance is perfect, no need for overclocking. Multitasking is a breeze, it just works. Very impressed!

1440p gaming beast
Very happy with this CPU - huge performance uplift from my Ryzen 5 3600 at 1440p. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get some final life from their DDR4 platform.

Excellent Processor
Upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600 to this CPU; increase in performance especially during gaming has been truly amazing. I can highly recommend this CPU to breath some life into the AM4 platform. Additionally the service I received from Wootware was, once again, fantastic!!
