Great Set of headphones
I recently bought the Corsair HS80 as a replacement for my HS80 Max after the mic on my Max unfortunately stopped working. Since I didn’t need Bluetooth and the HS80 was slightly cheaper, I decided to give it a try. I’ve been really impressed so far — the quality feels great, the headset is solid, and the microphone is excellent, even slightly better than the HS80 Max mic in my experience. The only feature I miss is the media control buttons from the HS80 Max and the extra programmable button, but aside from that, both are great headsets and I’m very happy with the HS80.

Poor build quality
The sound quality is actually good and the software is average, so I can’t complain there. Unfortunately the build quality is where things fall apart. Excuse the pun. This is the third Corsair headset I’ve owned, and every single one has had the same problem. the ear cushions eventually start coming off because the glue fails. What makes it even more frustrating is that the other two headsets I owned were lower-end Corsair models that cost quite a bit less, yet they still had the exact same issue. At this point it honestly makes me wonder why Corsair keeps using the same adhesive if it’s clearly a recurring problem. To make things worse, I’ve already had to wait three weeks for suppliers just to order replacement cushioning, and it’s probably going to take another two weeks before the headset returns my way. That’s a long time to deal with something that really shouldn’t be happening in the first place. It’s a pity because the headset sounds great, but the poor durability of the ear cushions really lets it down. This would be my last Corsair product!

Not For Me
The Corsair HS80 is a good headset however it is not for me. My main issue with it was the software and the connectivity. The software would constantly mess up my PC audio drivers whenever I would unplug the dongle to charge the headset, it got to a point where i had to uninstall my drivers and reinstall them a few times as it took away all audio for my PC. The iCUE EQ settings would not work but Dolby Atmos was okay enough to use instead. The mic was also weird, the main reason I bought this headset was because of the amazing reviews of its mic quality however for me when using it for work calls I was told the mic was super soft even with mic boost on, and when gaming on discord it would pick up every other sound around me such as my mouse, keyboard and things like the chair moving or fan blowing. Then the connectivity was an issue as I got wireless so I can still be on calls with friends while walking around but this connection would drop if I was even a few steps away from the PC so definitely not for me. And the battery was also very bad, it would need to be charged after using it for about 6 hours and charging takes almost twice that long. So its an okay headset but for this price range, to me it didn't feel worth it as it didn't give me the comfortable wireless headset experience that I wanted so I have returned it. Hopefully it works out better for others.

Good and bad
Very comfortable, good sound and the mic is top class for a wireless headset. BUT, the battery life is pretty bad and the range is an absolute lie. I lose almost as soon as I step out of my office, like.... maybe 5m

Corsair craft
A great headset. The connection is easy to set up and the sound is amazing. Good spacial awareness in-game and no sweat stickiness in the heat. RGB can be turned off to make the battery last longer, and the mic picks up voice without background well. Cloth earpieces should be made standard. It so much better than the plastic-covered foam.

Great audio but bad earcups
I had this for 4 months, its a really great headset in the hardware aspect After a little EQ tuning I had crisp audio with a good balance of Bass. However the fabric on the earcups started separating from the adhesive,it didnt tear,it literally pulled away from the glue. This headset is a little on the heavy side too for long periods of use at a time, but its really great save for the cheap glue At this price point I would expect "military grade" grade glue to hold the fabric in place, like, superglue type glue

Poggers, mostly
Super duper happy with the headset, for the most part. Best boom mic on the market, decent battery life, crystal clear audio. Main reason for purchase is the 96Khz audio sample rate when using it wired, which is of great benefit to my work. My only gripe is the hear cups aren't very breathable. Because the headset is a bit snug around my slightly fat head, it's gets a bit warm around my ears. Although, I wear them pretty much for hours on end, and it's nothing I can't handle.

Worth Every Cent
Comfort 5/5, sound 5/5, mic 5/5 Basically the virtuoso xt's younger brother They took everything they learned on the virtuoso line, threw it into this headset, and then made it cheaper. You will not regret this purchase. The sound is fantastic, footsteps in games are clear and music has great lows and highs. The comfort, ears don't tough the inner speaker housing, it's made of memory foam and there's no pleather so no sweat issues either. All and all the headset sits really well on the head and I've had no complaints so far. The mic. Crystal clear, near studio quality mic. No seriously check it out on YouTube for yourself, there are many videos that show what I'm talking about and they don't even use the settings their studio mics use, it's all just the mic. I checked with my mates and they say it's very clear. The Battery. Stays on the whole day and then some. Ive used it one day then half way into the next and only then needed to charge it and even then it has a USB mode and a wireless mode so you can use it while it's charging. Can't say enough how this headset is amazing!
