Hs80 experience so far
Its is a real good headset when it comes to surround sound and is a pretty good budget headset and not super expensive. Audio quality took a bit time to get use to coming from the hs35 but the more you use the headset, the better it sounds. The head band or head strap whatever you want to call it also takes time to get use to and you can adjust the head band btw. The customer service from Wootware is super friendly and kind.

Honest in depth review.
Coming from the HS70s, I found that, out of the box, these headphones were a downgrade in terms of audio quality but had significantly better microphone quality. The headphones themselves sound muffled; no, it's not that the headset is faulty. I'm not sure what Corsair was doing with these, but the audio quality is quite poor for the price right out of the box. The best way I can describe it is that it feels as if the audio is playing from a meter behind you instead of all around you. To counter this, you need to spend time setting up and customizing your own equalizer settings until you are satisfied. There are presets available, but I didn’t like 90% of them, so I had to create my own to get them to sound similar to the HS70s. Once this was done, everything was better than the HS70s. If you're looking for something that works right out of the box, perhaps for console use, I would advise against these unless you really have no other option, as you will have to deal with their sound as they come. Go for the Pros instead; they are a significant upgrade in audio quality. I’m super picky and sensitive to sound, so if anyone else is similar to me, I hope this honest feedback helps you make a more informed decision. (I rate these 3 stars out of the box. After adjusting everything to my liking, I would give them 5 stars, but I had to spend a lot of time to achieve that, so the out-of-the-box experience is what matters for most people.)

Probably the best headset at this price range, BUT...
Audio quality: It was fairly good with default settings but the quality skyrocketed once I turned on Dolby Atmos. Mic: The mic quality is so good that it will make people do a double-take as it sounds like a studio quality mic. Comfort: Unfortunately, the headset was very uncomfortable for me but it was 100% fine for my brother, so you won't really know unless you try it. I gave mine to my brother. The only adjustment you can make to the headset, is the strap. (I had to remove it entirely for it to be remotely comfortable)
