Excellent product bought for a bargain!
Bought to expand my storage for video and photo editing. At first I were rather sceptical and considered to rather get another SSD, but that was way out of my budget. This was an excellent upgrade as I can now separate my work storage from my gaming storage. Will definitely be buying another if the price remains the same!

Good Drive, Best Price, Great Service
I use this drive in a 3.5" EXTERNAL enclosure. Speeds using CrystalDiskMark (SEQ1M-Q8T1) and about 20% full: Read: 211.29 MB/s Write: 205.37 MB/s Performance is rather decent for a mechanical drive (as seen above) thanks to 7200RPM and 256MB cache. Time will tell regarding longevity but I've used Seagate exclusively over the years and no issues so far. Great Service from Wootware (first time customer).

Can u spell Coooold storage
After the Western Digital 2TB units gave issues a wee while ago. I have been on the fence regarding what cold storage to get and at what sizes. For a new build, I was doing. But since everyone and his uncle's mother decided last week they WILL buy up everything pc related..sigh facepalm.. I was forced to choose between buying all my parts through Wootware or.. looking sideways at Evetechs page whilst squinting.. and thought it is best to just get it all in one place. And because there are/were very limited options available. I got this. The Build worked out very noicely and I have had zero issues with the physical representation of said hd that's on sale and showcased above that I bought, installed and am currently using. It is what it is. Cold storage And it does it well. Speed is not the goal here.

Seagate all the way
I bought this just so that I could retire my old 2TB Seagate that has lasted over 10 years without any problems ever! So I have no doubt that this new Seagate will take me forward another 10 years while I keep the old one as a backup in a safe.
