Unbeatable Value with a Few Quirks
I honestly think this monitor is fantastic for the price. It is easily one of the cheapest options on the market for 1440p, a 240Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits of brightness. I didn't notice any ghosting during normal gaming. The stand has great, smooth adjustments, and switching between the four HDMI and DisplayPort inputs is seamless when I have multiple devices plugged in. My main gripe comes down to the backlight, because these dimming zones just aren't OLED. In practice, when a scene goes dark, the monitor dims everything, meaning white text on a black background or game UI elements get noticeably dimmed down along with the environment. I also ran into a frustrating five-second black screen whenever I alt-tabbed out of a game with Windows Auto HDR enabled. It bothered me enough that I just switched Auto HDR off. Other than that very positive experience.

Great value
firstly thanks to wootware for getting this to me very quickly during the holidays The monitor's stand is nice and solid, and the dimming zones and HDR make a big difference compared to a standard IPS display. You really have to see it on a well supported content to understand. The only cons are that the blooming in certain situations is very noticeable, the monitor itself does not have a volume control option and switching it off is sometimes a bit finicky At this price point, you can't get anything resembling the specs on this monitor

I'm not going to go into too much detail, but the screen is as advertised. I was sceptical at first, as this is a brand I had never heard of, and usually err on the side of caution when making expensive purchases. I'm happy to say that the build quality is better than I thought it would be, and it's on par with gaming screens I've bought from other brands in the past, only this screen offers better value for money. My HP Omen laptop only outputs 144fps from it's HDMI port, so I can't experience the 240Hz in it's full glory, but it's more than enough for me. The screen is really bright, and I find myself dimming it down in the evenings, so no complaints. I'm happy to support a local brand: would highly recommend!

Excellent for the price
I'm writing this review while taking the price into consideration: Performance: Colours -> very vibrant, and they pop. Response time and motion blur -> Better than expected, I'm quite impressed that the image clarity in fast-paced games like Apex Legends is great and definitely noticeable compared to my 180Hz LG Ultragear (IPS) panel. Black frame insertion -> This is implemented very well - it reduces motion blur, without making colors looking washed out or dimming the brightness (maybe like a few nits, but at first glance it's not even noticeable, but the monitor is so bright that it does not matter, you can easily compensate with the brightness setting) Brightness -> Crazy, even on 50 percent it can burn out your eyes - I'm running on the display P3 setting with 50 percent and white backgrounds like on the browser are very bright. Coating -> This is the only thing I don't really like too much about the screen, it's got a weird coating which is almost glittery, I only notice this when comparing to my Dell QHD 27" 165Hz monitor, although the coating does boost the colour vibrancy. But this is a very minor con of the monitor, and some may prefer it, and some won't even notice it. Text clarity -> Very decent, no complaints here. HDR -> I'm impressed, I don't really notice any blooming and HDR vids and gaming are pretty good. I don't think it'll compare to an OLED in this regard, but it holds its own against other non-OLED panels. OSD Settings -> I think this is an okay implementation and is configurable enough, but the nipple at the back is not the best quality. Build Quality -> It's decent for the price, same for the stand, which is also quite solid and nice. I like the low-profile base plate. But I don't use it since I have monitor arms for both my monitors. Viewing angles -> hmmm, I do notice some variation in brightness and colour saturation when looking from different angles, I think it has to do with the coating though. Overall, this monitor has impressed me, and I'm happy with my purchase. If you can't afford a R15k OLED, this is definitely a good alternative, and you can use this in any lighting conditions because of the brightness that this monitor offers. I am a software engineer and spend many hours using the monitor, and my eyes feel fine so far using it. I also game at night, and it just performs really well. It definitely is an upgrade from a normal IPS monitor, and for the price, I don't think you can get a better monitor.

Definitely Recommend
Super Happy with the Monitor Works as advertised, has true HDR and the screen is crystal clear and super bright, honestly i was super surprised at this budget friendly mini Led monitor i thought that they would have to give up some sort of quality to get this price, but everything feels premium aside from the control panel which is still functional just not ideal but still not a deal breaker well worth the money

Good monitor
This is a review from someone who is _not_ a monitor aficionado or snob. If you are like me, and just want something at a good price that will display games smoothly brightly, I think this is a good monitor! Local dimming on Medium renders the halo effect mostly unnoticeable in real-world usage. There are some things that could be better (like offering 10bit colour at 240hz), but honestly, it is a R5k monitor. Nothing else at this price point has the same specs going for it, of 1440p, 27", 500nit, 240hz (or 180hz / 10bit colour), HDR. One other negative is that the DDC/CI is a bit wonky, turning itself off and on on some boots. If you use Twinkle Tray or other software to control monitor brightness, you may have to periodically unplug + plug the monitor back in to reset this.

Good value, but with some faults
Overall an excellent monitor, albeit with a few snags. As a standalone, its a good 1440p240hz monitor - the issue is throwing in HDR on top. The Mini LED system works well but there are limitations at the input level where the ports simply can't do full res, bitrate(8bit at 240hz, 10bit at 180hz) and refresh rate. If you're willing to drop the refresh rate during HDR use this is a non-issue, but with the monitor not supporting DSC in any way you cannot use the "highest settings" all at the same time. HDR-wise the screen really pops, where the brightness is excellent and the colours are punchy. At 8-bit there is some banding should you use the 240hz refresh rate mode, but at the lower 180hz it looks as expected and games like Ori and the Will of the Wisp/Cyberpunk 2077 look stunning. Otherwise build quality is great, the new joystick controlled menu as well as the OSD itself are much nicer on the newer monitors, and the display panel itself looks awesome.

I like it
I am a software guy and I only use this for work, so I mostly look at text and a very little visually intensive 'views'. After also playing around a little with the monitor's settings, I was pleasantly surprised. My comparison is a built-in Macbook Pro (M2) screen. Keep in mind that I am not savvy on what's possible with LED screen variants and am not too phased either.

Good Monitor, occasional annoying coil whine
Decent colour and meets all the specs as described, great for the price. Occasionally has some very noticeable coil whine (high pitched sound which waxes and wanes in intensity) but does this is intermittent.

Probably great but it wasn't for me
To preface this review: You may not experience what I did — I gave this monitor to my brother, and he absolutely loves it. I could just be unusually sensitive to certain things this display does. - For reference, I came from a 32-inch VA panel with an 1800R curve, used in a well-lit room. The good: This monitor can really wow you. The colours pop, the brightness is excellent, and it feels extremely smooth in motion. The fast response time makes tracking small targets easy — War Thunder was the perfect use case for it. The Problem — Eye strain: Unfortunately, I couldn't get past the eye strain no matter what I tried. I tested settings every day for over a week: dropping brightness all the way to 15%, tweaking local dimming, blue light filters, response time, contrast, black levels, HDR, FreeSync, BFI, and more. At first, I thought it was just the switch from a heavily curved monitor to flat — the screen actually looked convex/bent outwards for the first few days, which was bizarre. That weird visual distortion did fade after about a week, but the eye strain never went away. Ghosting on white backgrounds: I also noticed persistent ghosting (or inverse ghosting/overshoot) on pure white surfaces, no matter which Response Time setting I used. Lowering contrast to around 42% fixed about 95% of it, but that locks out some other settings and isn't ideal for everyday use. A few other setting combinations helped a bit, but lowering contrast was the quickest workaround. I really wanted to like this monitor — the picture quality and smoothness are genuinely impressive. It just wasn't meant to be for me.
